Closing out the season of our Maupin 100 celebrations is a 2-day event happening Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, the 25th.
Saturday will kick-off with Cornhole at the Imperial, followed by South Wasco Connect - a job fair event connecting business owners, tradespeople, farmers, ranchers, entrepreneurs, resource providers, and regional partners with each other, local area students, and the greater South Wasco community.
A formal dedication of the Deschutes River Athletic Complex - Maupin’s brand new Olympic training facility will take place beginning at 3:00 (along with free shave-ice), followed by a FREE community dinner back at Kaiser Park from 4:30 - 6:30. The evening will conclude with piñata and tricycle races, a classic community favorite.
Sunday, 9/25, brings the Ride-Row-Run triathlon starting at 9 a.m., and the rescheduled Hunter Noack In A Landscape concert at the Imperial Lawn at 4:30 p.m.
