Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:
It was a busy week on campus! We kicked off Socktober with crazy socks on Monday. It was fun to see the students display their personalities with their socks. We will continue to collect new socks throughout the month to donate to local charitable organizations.
Thank you to all who joined our Living Rosary on the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary. We enjoyed being able to share this special time with our families who attended in person and those who joined via the live stream. We are so grateful to Deacon Nguyen who came to visit our classes Thursday morning and bless our students.
We want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate our first Homecoming – it was great to have everyone come together for the festivities. We are filled with JOY that we are able to have fun gatherings again and the weather was absolutely perfect! We were so proud to have many alumni return to campus. Seeing their smiling faces mingling with our current students was extra special. Congratulations to our Lady Crusaders with their wins and also to our soccer team who won earlier in the week. Go Crusaders!
Safety is always our number one priority. Please refrain from using cell phones while on Cherry St and transitioning from the overflow lot to the main parking lot. We ask that you remain in your vehicle during carline unless you are loading your students into the car.
We want to thank our wonderful Dads Club and all of our dads who will be on campus on Saturday from 8-12 pm to help out with various projects around campus. All dads are welcome to join.
Monday, October 11 is a staff development day – the students get to enjoy a long weekend.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Only by His Grace,
Kendall Shamas
Principal

School Photos – Makeup/Retake Day – Wednesday, October 13
Individual Photo orders have already gone home with your student. If your student has not yet brought their portrait delivery envelope to you, please ask them for it now. Every student who was present on photo day received an envelope whether or not they ordered photos. If you have any questions about your child’s order, we ask that you contact G. Michael Photography directly through the number or support address provided on the photo envelope. Their staff will quickly respond to any inquiries. The school office will not be able to assist you with order related questions.
A Makeup/Retake Day is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 13. Please make sure that any student needing to be photographed is at school on time on photo day.
Makeup Photos – If your child was not photographed on the original photo day due to absence, they will be photographed on the above date. If you wish to buy a package of school photos, please submit your order online before photo day at www.AccessMyEvent.com/DNHTV5
Need Retakes? For information about Makeup/Retake Day, please carefully review the Retake guidelines on the back side of the portrait envelope your student brings home. These guidelines must be followed to qualify for a retake. Please email the school office BEFORE Tuesday, Oct. 12th at 3:00 pm to sign your child up for Retakes. In the email, include your child’s name and grade. This will ensure that your child is not overlooked on Retake Day.

Hello all!
Our PTO meeting last Friday was a success! We had a great turnout between in person & Zoom participants. Thank you to all of you who took the time to join us in our meeting.
In our meeting we stated that we were recording the Zoom to be posted to the school website, unfortunately, we had some technical difficulties & only the last several minutes of the meeting were recorded. We aren’t without our faults. There’s a learning curve to everything & we are definitely learning. I can only promise to do better going forward.
I am very excited to report that we were able to fill several PTO & chair positions after our meeting on Friday. We still have several that we need to fill so please, if you have any interest, email the PTO at pto@sacst.org. The most pressing positions that we need help with are STREAM Day Chair, Crusader Fund Chair & Veterans Day Chair. The descriptions are on the PTO Events Descriptions which is attached. Again, if you have any questions about these positions, please send us an email.
Our next PTO meeting will be Friday, November 12th at 8:15. We will once again provide an in person & zoom option for those that can’t attend in person.
Login to your FACTS Family Portal - Resource Document Page to view the meeting notes, event descriptions list which lists those still available vs filled, the Room Parent list including contact information as well as the SAFE Haven training instructions.
