Outdoor Self-Service Lockers are Here!

The library’s new lockers are ready for use! Access library materials even when the library is closed by picking up your holds at the new lockers, located to the right of our main entrance. Picking up holds at the lockers is both convenient and contactless. Using the lockers is easy!

  1. Place a hold and select the lockers as your pickup location.
  2. Wait for the library to contact you; you’ll receive notifications by email, text, or phone call that your items are available.
  3. Scan your Bloomingdale library card at the lockers to pick up your materials!

During the month of February donations of Move in Essentials (listed below) will be accepted at the Bloomingdale Village Hall, Library, Fire Department, and Park District (JRC) facilities. Donated items will be provided to Veterans who are exiting homelessness. Only new, store-bought items will be accepted.
