Sunday School for all Ages at 9:00 a.m.
Sanctuary / Live Stream Worship at 10:00 a.m.

Indoor Sunday School and Worship Plans Beginning September 5th
  1. We ask everyone to wear masks as directed by the CDC. We ask those feeling ill not to come but to instead join us online.
  2. We will have Sunday school in our rooms and worship in the sanctuary and everyone will wear masks for the protection of our community.  We will continue to monitor the spread of the COVID variants and make changes as needed.
  3. We returned the hymnals to the pews along with envelopes, pencils earlier this summer.
  4. We will offer printed bulletins and will continue to email a .pdf of the bulletin during the week for those people watching the services online. The bulletin will not contain the words to the songs and hymns. Instead we will project them in the sanctuary and our live stream folks will be able to see them during the broadcast. People in the sanctuary can use the hymnal or read the words on the screen.
  5. We will have the diaconate serve as a welcome team to receive offerings and hand out communion as you enter the sanctuary.
  6. Nursery will not be available at this time.

New Sermon Series

Revival: Stronger Than Ever
Sermon Series starts September 5th.

For many months now our country has been shut down. Lives have been lost, jobs have been lost, loneliness has crept in, and it's been hard to hold onto hope. Today, we are in the midst of the recovery. Our country is continuing to open up. Businesses are trying to figure out how to stay open just like Slash Church. The reality is we are not in the same place we were in when the pandemic began, and it will take time to recover what we've lost.

The Revival: Stronger Than Ever worship series takes a look at current events through the lens of the Old Testament book of Chronicles. The Bible has lessons for every situation we will ever face. Chronicles was written to teach us how to recover from a national crisis. Each week we will read God's plan of recovery. We will learn to remain strong in the face of adversity, hope-filled in the midst of scarcity, and determined in the face of opposition. These timeless principles, along with many others, will encourage and strengthen Slash Church to come back stronger than ever.

Revival is not something to be taken lightly. Over the history of our faith, we can point to many instances of genuine revival amongst communities of faith. As diverse as the specific instances may be, there are generally similar circumstances surrounding these occurrences. Hunger for God, desperation, stagnancy in the faith, adverse situations, etc.

The point is that there is no reason why
we at Slash cannot begin the revival now-this fall.

You will be welcome to join us for church school at 9 am and sanctuary worship at 10 am for Revival beginning September 5. Is there any reason why revival couldn't happen now?
