3 Gordon Ford College of Business online programs among nation's best
Three programs in WKU's Gordon Ford College of Business (GFCB) are ranked among the 2023 Best Online Programs by U.S. News & World Report. 

GFCB's Online Undergraduate Business Program has been ranked No. 44 among 2023 Best Online Programs by U.S. News & World Report. The Bachelor of Science in Management with a track in Business Administration is an online Plus 2 in Business Administration option. It is designed for Kentucky Community and Technical College (KCTCS) transfer students who wish to build upon their Associate Degree.

"The recognition by U.S. News & World Report shows that the Gordon Ford College of Business continues to look for opportunities to innovate and offer a flexible applied business education," said Dr. Christopher Shook, Dean of Gordon Ford College of Business, "The success of our online Plus 2 program is in response to a great partnership, we have with the Kentucky Community and Technical College (KCTCS)."

Additionally, GFCB's Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) has been ranked No. 73 in the 2023 Best Online MBA Programs and No. 52 among the 2023 Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans.  The MBA program offers five concentrations and is designed for the working professional. The program is 100% online, with optional synchronous meetings in several courses.
CLIMBING HIGHER
During the 2023 Winter Term, seven students traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of the Folk Studies Public Folklore Policy and Practice study away course led by Brent Björkman. Learn More
Chemistry faculty members awarded grant for equipment
A KY EPSCoR NSF grant (Research Infrastructure) has been awarded to Dr. Matthew Nee and Co-PI Dr. Bangbo Yan, both professors in WKU’s Department of Chemistry, for the purchase of a new surface area analyzer, also called a Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET) analyzer.
Spotlight: Maxine Ray
WKU graduate Maxine Ray of Bowling Green was among the recipients of the 2022 Governor’s Awards in the Arts. Ray, who earned a master’s degree in Folk Studies, received the Folk Heritage Award.

Celebration of the Arts entry deadline is February 10
February 10 is the entry deadline for the 2023 Abound Credit Union Celebration of the Arts. This competitive exhibition is open to all residents 18 years of age or older, living in a Kentucky county which falls within a 65-mile radius of Bowling Green. The exhibit will be open to the public March 4-April 14 at the Kentucky Museum. More: Side by Side classes
