Hennepin Avenue Reconstruction
Virtual Open House - 4:30pm, Thursday, January 13
Public Works staff will host a virtual open house at 4:30pm on Thursday, January 13 to share the recommended design for the reconstruction of south Hennepin Avenue and answer questions. Learn more about the plan and how to join the meeting on the project website.

Please note that concerns have been raised about the significant amount of on-street parking that the plan calls for and the impact this could have on older people, people with disabilities, and the current business community.
Volunteers Power Restoration Efforts at Cedar Point Natural Area
Over the past few years, a dedicated team of volunteers led by resident Mark Schmidt have worked to restore the natural area at Cedar Point. The group has cleared invasive buckthorn, planted new shrubs, and laid down a seed mix of pollinator-friendly plants.

To join this and/or other efforts to keep our neighborhood beautiful, livable, vibrant, and sustainable, send an email to: [email protected].
