Dr. Nabarun Ghosh, Professor of Biology, conducted a workshop on reforestation and the plantation of trees.

Dr. Ghosh delivered a lecture on: “Deforestation, Plastic Pollution and Global Warming—Biotechnology as a solution” at the internationally reputed institute, Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata, on June 5th. 1,500 students, researchers, scientists, physicians, delegates, and journalists attended this event.

The title of the talk was: “Application of Nanotechnology in remediation of PM 2.5, airborne pathogen and development of a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.” Dr. Ghosh also visited the Nanotechnology Laboratories at the Science Park, Thailand.

Physical Review B is the world's most prominent journal devoted to physics and is considered the most highly cited journal in physics. They publish approximately 100 new articles per week. 

Dr. Keshav Shrestha, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Physics, and research team consisting of Thinh (John) Nguyen, M.S. Chemistry, and Duncan Miertschin, B.S. Physics, have successfully published research in the Physical Review B journal.
