Congratulations to this year’s AANP Award of Excellence winners, Dr. Kim Bednar and Dr. Katie Katz. Katie, a member of our Blue Ridge Region, received the NP State Award for Excellence. Kim, a member of our Piedmont Region and VCNP’s state Government Relations chair, was honored with the NP Advocate Award. They will be honored at the AANP National Conference in June. |

Lynchburg Region member and VCNP state PR chair Morgan McDowell traveled with the University of Lynchburg College of Medical Science Students Without Borders group to Oaxaca, Mexico earlier this month for a medical mission trip.
The group cared for over 200 patients and delivered donated medical supplies, clothes and personal care items.
