Final In-Person Open House
Wednesday, August 10, 6 - 8 pm
Painter Recreation Center, 620 W 34th Street
CIDNA has been working hard to make water quality the Park Board’s number-one priority in this 30-year plan. Cedar Lake is already eutrophic — lacking oxygen; if the plan doesn’t address that problem, Cedar Lake will die — no longer be swimmable and fish-able. That priority is currently reflected in the Park Board staff’s new “preferred concept,” but will again be up for discussion at this meeting.
At the meeting, the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will discuss the preferred concept and work toward a final recommendation to the Park Board. There will also be time for public comment time. Light refreshments will be provided. You are encouraged to attend!
Survey
The Park Board survey about the future of the Cedar-Isles park area will help shape the plan. It is slated to close on August 10! Please let your desires be known — this is a plan for the next 30 years.
