Summer is the perfect time to express your creativity. Join the ranks of award-winning filmmakers who have submitted to the MY HERO International Film Festival. With a worldwide audience, the MHIFF is the perfect place to show off your work. Create a short, hero-themed film, up to 10 minutes in length, and share it with a global audience. The final deadline for submission is September 1, 2023.

Special Awards, with cash prizes are offered for films with themes of Activism, Peace, Women Change-makers, Relationships, Youth Reporting and more. Categories range from elementary school to professional filmmakers and the MY HERO website has free tools and resources that allow even a beginner to create a film, from concept through editing. Students may request a fee waiver to submit their short films.
