Grace Talk
In this week's newsletter, we want to share our brand new series as a church. Below is a short update from Chris the Outreach Pastor writing on behalf of the Reunion Church team.

What is grace? It’s something our team has discussed for years now as we’ve grown together. When things are sky high and everything’s going great, what is grace? When the world seems to be crashing all around us and everything seems to be against us, what is grace?

Sure you may have gone to church your whole life and it’s embedded into your very soul, but do you truly understand grace? For most brand-new believers, they learn a little bit about grace before moving onto more “spiritual” things. When they first get saved, it’s just a footnote in their faith. Even a seasoned believer that can really take in the reality of grace, yet doesn't because they’ve been there and done that.

For those new or on the way to faith, grace is usually something quickly mentioned and never defined well. “Grace is mercy and more!” More what? What are you talking about? Are you selling a supplement or providing insight into one of the most important attributes of God’s character and by extension our life as his followers? Cute quotes like that just don’t cut it these days when deconstructions are as common as Crocs.

In this brand new series called Grace Talk, we are going to spend the sum of 12 weeks unpacking every aspect of grace. How do I allow grace in my relationships, whether romantic or at work? How does grace impact my children and how do I raise them in a way that reflects the grace God gives us? Do I even deserve grace or am I a lost cause?

We’ve been having this conversation for a while now and we’re finally ready to invite you to have it with us too. For the past couple months, we have been working and compiling a book that goes over what grace really means. As you go through the series with us, you’ll get to investigate these questions and so much more by the end of it. Piecing together the puzzle with your own book and a small group study that will leave you with a renewed perspective in life.

Grace Talk starts this Sunday the 19th at 5:30pm meeting inside the Reunion Coffee House. We’ll be providing childcare and snacks as well. Also, share our Facebook and Instagram posts about Grace Talk to invite even more people to attend our event. Even if you cannot attend, it helps us get the word out with every share. We hope to see you there and join us as we talk about all things grace.
Support Us
Running a local church is a demanding process. It requires financial and prayerful support to keep it going. Would you consider partnering with us and joining our team by giving a donation?

Currently, your donation will go towards a new space that meets the needs of our rapidly growing church ($1,500 per month), our new website design to provide more services for the community ($3,000), and even more to reach the people of Reunion.

Click below to give to check out our new website. It needs work, but that's where you can help us get to our goal of $3,000 to raise for the website renovation.

PODCAST
In our latest podcast episode, Andrew and Chris discuss the latest installment of our current series: An Ordinary Life.
What You Can Be Praying For
  1. That we would meet the needs of the neighborhood with our new Grace Talk series.
  2. We are in need of a worship leader for our full-service launch in January, along with expanding the rest of our teams this year.
  3. For the people of Afghanistan and the global church as it trusts God during this incredibly heartbreaking time of unrest in the Middle East. Pray that the Taliban leaders would repent of their evil terrorism and tyranny, that the people would find some semblance of justice and peace in the midst of this dark era of their nation, and lastly for the veterans who feel emotionally defeated by the way this 20-year war ended.

Praise Report: We have fully submitted our 501(c)(3) classification! It's been an arduous process, but we've finally finished it thanks to God and your support.

To guide your prayers, read Acts 20:32 (NLT):

"And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself."
