Exciting News from Lakeside's World Outreach Missionaries and Ministries!
Welcome to Lakeside's new World Outreach Leadership Team: Steve and Lydia Addy!
Steve and his wife Lydia were married by Pastor Krist at Lakeside, where they’ve been attending church together since 1994. They have three adult children, all of whom were dedicated unto the Lord at Lakeside’s altar. Steve holds a degree from the University of Michigan and is the co-owner of Addy Machinery, an industrial precision machinery distributorship. Lydia works within the in-home healthcare industry for the elderly. Lydia and Steve enjoy boating, traveling, shooting, Detroit Tiger baseball games, family dinners, and Italian food!

Steve and Lydia are not new to Lakeside Ministry. Together, Steve & Lydia have ministered as Sunday School teachers, adult Bible Class leaders, choir and drama members, homeless ministry workers and Lakeside Greeters. Now they have accepted Pastor Krist's appointment to lead Lakeside’s World Outreach Ministry. Both Steve and Lydia come with a passion to faithfully serve our Lord and Lakeside and play a vital role in His last days Harvest .Faithfully pray for the Addy's and be available to serve with them in local, domestic and international outreach.

Praise Reports from Lakeside Missionaries
  • Project Rescue - Missionaries David and Beth Grant - (Main focus: Reaching) Founded in 1997, the mission of Project Rescue has been to rescue and restore victims of sexual exploitation through the love and power of God. An unprecedented opportunity came our way to buy a brothel building, located at the very entrance of one of the biggest red-light districts in Southern Asia and our supporters (YOU) stepped in and gave. The purchase of the building and renovations are ongoing. It will now be a place of prayer and restoration. Thank you Lakeside for your generosity, partnership and prayers!

  • North America - Emerge Counseling - Ministry Leaders Dr. Robert and Pamela Crosby (Main focus: Counseling ministry) The global shockwaves produced by the pandemic have shaken all sectors of society and caused people everywhere to discover the vital needs of soul care in their lives, families, and work. Through this ministry, over 30,000 hours of counseling have been conducted in the past year to pastors, missionaries, evangelists and ministers to provide a safe place to respond to soul care and mental health needs. Emerge Counseling’s mission is to help ministers live healthy mentally, emotionally, relationally and spiritually. Thank you Lakeside for your prayers and support!
  • Eurasia - Missionary Kirstin Edinger (Main focus: Serving the needy) The small Ukrainian city of Krasnagorovka is less than 15 miles from separatist force headquarters and is often caught in the crossfire between Ukrainian military forces and the separatists in the war in Eastern Ukraine. Before the war, the city population was over 16,000 but fewer than 5,000 remain. Fresh milk, cheese, and butter have been an important part of making sure the children receive the necessary vitamins for development, so having a dairy cow is critical. Thanks to your generosity in giving to our Ukraine SEED (Something to Eat Every Day) Program, in addition to the garden seeds provided, we were also able to bring Lyubov's family another dairy cow! Thank you Lakeside family for your prayers and financial support!!
Lyubov (pictured here) and her husband have lived their whole lives in Krasnagorovka, and are raising 10 children (their own children as well as her deceased sister's children) there. In 2019, Lyubov's husband had his hand crushed in an accident and was unable to find work. They were forced to sell their family's dairy cow to pay off the bills.
Prayer Requests from our Lakeside Missionaries
  • Missionaries - Many of our missionaries who serve across the globe are still dealing with the COVID Pandemic governmental regulations organizations in the countries they minister in. Please continue to lift them up in prayer as they utilize alternate sources to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved as they wait to be able to minister in person once again.

  • Cambodia - Missionaries Daniel and Khuyen Bryner - (Main focus: Evangelism)  Many of the Vietnamese in Cambodia live on the water in floating villages. Recently, most of the Vietnamese in their area, literally hundreds of families, were forced to move off the water and onto the land. Daniel and Khuyen ask you to pray for these people for protection from disease, theft and harm as they dismantle their boats and find a place to live.

  • Europe - The spiritual needs across Europe continue to be urgent and compelling. Whether secular, Muslim, apathetic or spiritually seeking, there are millions of men and women in Europe that have never personally met anyone who could tell them how to put their trust in Jesus. Pray the Holy Spirit will help Europeans to hear the Gospel in a fresh way that they can accept, and free them from the negativity of their secular belief system.

For our Missionaries

  • Pray for the protection and provision of our Missionaries around the world in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic that is still in effect.

  • Pray for the United States of America for God's Justice and Peace to prevail.
For the Nations of the World

  • for government officials to make decisions benefiting the ministry and outreach work of our missionaries,

  • for a hedge of protection from Satanic attacks against our missionaries, their ministries and Christian Nationals,

  • for a Spirit-empowered revival to flood the nations!
