ISTAT Learning Lab: Aircraft ABS Market Update
As follow-up to their “Intro to Aircraft ABS” Learning Lab, Evan Wallach, president of Global AirFinance Services and John Mowry, managing director of Alton Aviation Consultancy, will review the impact from the pandemic, Russian seizure of aircraft, higher interest rates on the new issue, aircraft ABS market, and performance of $50 billion of seasoned aircraft ABS bonds.
Additionally, Evan and John will discuss how issuers, bankers, investors and rating agencies are adjusting to the latest market dynamics.

The Autumn Issue of Jetrader has arrived! It includes a recap of the Farnborough International Airshow, which made a return in July.

ISTAT Appraising: An Introduction at ISTAT EMEA
As part of ISTAT EMEA, the ISTAT Appraisers Program will once again offer ISTAT Appraising – An Introduction for those interested in the practice of appraising, or those interested in learning more about appraisals and what they mean. This event will take place on Sunday, 18 September from 15:30 – 17:00 at the Movenpick Hotel Mansour.
This complimentary session hosted by ISTAT Certified Appraisers features an inside look at the ISTAT Appraisers Program, aircraft appraisal fundamentals and steps to becoming an ISTAT Certified Appraiser. It will also address commonly asked questions about appraisals for those who use them.
Autumn 2022 Certification Exams
The IAP has scheduled exams to become ISTAT Certified Appraisers at testing centers in Dublin, London and Reston, Virginia, in October.
