Welcome Home Friends and Supporters:

We took a hard look at the number of clients we have served already in 2022 and we were surprised to see that almost 750 are children. This is almost half of all clients served by Welcome Home. In addition, we serve hundreds of clients, many of whom are children, each month through our presence at the Newton Food Pantry every Wednesday.

Also, as students head back to school, we are proud of our work with Grad Bag, a nonprofit organization that provides dorm supplies to under-resourced students at area colleges and universities. Below please see a photo of Nancy Brown from Grad Bag, and our volunteer Millie Tubman, last week when Nancy came to Welcome Home to pick up items to be brought to students at Tufts University.

We welcome you to come visit our new space at our upcoming Open House on Sunday, September 18th from 2-4pm. Thank you for your continued support of our work.
