Mount Sinai is exploring CIN interest in subsidized Epic EMR licensing for your practice

Mount Sinai Health System is exploring interest in licensing its Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Practice Management system to the MSHP Clinically Integrated Network voluntary providers at a subsidized cost. Access to Mount Sinai’s EMR allows your practice to leverage the shared resources and expertise of the Mount Sinai Health System and help your practice thrive in New York’s competitive and dynamic healthcare market.

We offered two informational sessions for our CIN members hosted by Bruce Darrow, MD, PhD, Senior Vice President of Information Technology, Deputy Chief Information Officer, and Chief Medical Information Officer for the Mount Sinai Health System to learn more about deploying the Epic EMR in your practice with licensing costs subsidized by Mount Sinai. Please click below for the following materials from the informational sessions:

If you are interested in learning more about the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Practice Management system, please complete this survey here by Thursday, October 27 and a member of the Epic team will reach out.

MSHP Board of Managers Spotlight: Dr. Anthony Orlando

Meet our Mount Sinai Health Partners’ Board Member, Anthony Orlando, DPM, D.ABFAS. Dr. Orlando is a podiatrist at Anthony Orlando DPM, PC and has served on MSHP’s board for six months. We recently caught up with Dr. Orlando to learn more about him as an MSHP Board member!

What do you like most about serving on MSHP’s Board of Managers?

The opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with practitioners across many different specialties for the betterment of our collective practices and patients is one of the many great benefits of Board membership.

What do you hope to accomplish while serving on MSHP's Board of Managers?

As a Queens native and practitioner for over 30 years, I have come to understand many of the challenges and complexities of being an "outer-borough" provider and patient firsthand. As a Voluntary Non-Manhattan Specialist Board member, I will use my platform to represent and advocate for the interests and perspectives of my fellow non-Manhattanites. I look forward to furthering my work with Mount Sinai Health Partners by serving on the Board and hoping to see many more Mount Sinai locations all over our fine state in the years to come!

What are your interests/hobbies outside of work?

Spending time with my wife and daughters, boating, squash, handball, cooking.

We look forward to Dr. Orlando continuing to serve on MSHP’s Board of Managers!
