Content and speakers to feature essential components for small business and community resilience such as the importance of networks, innovation, adaptation, inclusion, and the link with quality of life in NH.

Keynote speaker: Tom Raffio, President & CEO, Northeast Delta DentalIn 2021, Tom co-authored the book, "Prepare for Crisis - Plan to Thrive: The Inside Story of How One Company Did It Right". The book is divided into three sections that tell how to build a strong foundation based on best management principles before a crisis, how to use that foundation to act wisely during a crisis, and how to renew the foundation with lessons learned emerging from a crisis.

The NH SBDC Regional Directors in the North & Central, Southern and Seacoast regions will introduce small business resiliency planning using SBDC's Resiliency Workbook. New Hampshire small businesses will share their experience developing and using a resiliency plan.


NH SBDC is the leading resource for business advising and education for small businesses in the Granite State.

NH Veteran-Friendly Business and How to Apply:
 
The NH Veteran-Friendly Business recognition and network was launched in the summer of 2020 through a partnership between the NH Department of Military Affairs & Veterans Services (DMAVS) and NH Employment Security. It is now entering its 2nd year of recognizing businesses that strive to honor, fortify, empower and impact the military & Veteran community in New Hampshire. There is no cost for applying or for participating in the network. Recognized businesses enjoy a variety of benefits including access to the program logo for promotional uses, free training for staff, space on the DMAVS website to promote the business or advertise job openings, and invitations to participate in network and Veteran employment events.
