Our orchestra and band students from across the district wowed a packed house at Fountain Valley High School at the annual FVSD Monster Concert. We were so excited to have this signature event return as we celebrated the musical talents of our elementary and middle school students in addition to FVHS students. A huge thank you to our music directors and their teams, for making this event possible. It was a truly wonderful evening in celebration of the musical gifts of our outstanding students.

Fountain Valley School District invites fifth-grade students and their families to attend the Middle School Orientation on Wednesday, May 24th, from 5:30-6:30 pm at your assigned middle school. Please join us to meet your principal and staff and hear more about your middle school campus and programs. We are excited to welcome all of our fifth graders and their families as we look forward to a tremendous sixth-grade year!

More than 25 different cultures were represented at the first annual Cultural Night. The evening included a festive international cultural experience with food, drinks, music, and dance from around the world hosted by Courreges PTA at the Fountain Valley Senior Center.

Masuda's new E-Sports team competed against eight schools at Warner Middle School on Saturday. This fledgling team took 1st and 4th place. Mr. Goldsworthy put a lot of work into this new club. There were some pretty competitive tryouts; he even made shirts for their team. A section of E-Sports will be taught on the elective wheel next year. Keep up the great work, Monarchs!
