Spiritual Formation Workshop
Sunday, September 26 | 3-5pm

How To Disciple Someone – At the end of Matthew’s gospel, Jesus gave the church a clear and simple instruction: Go and make disciples. This is an essential duty in the Christian life. But how do you actually disciple another person? This workshop will explore a few practical issues in discipling another person: How do you start a discipleship relationship? What do you talk about when you meet? And how can you replicate this with the person you are discipling?
Operation Christmas Child

Join Alliance this fall, as we prepare and pack 3,000 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (OCC)! You can build shoeboxes online, bring shoeboxes on Collection Sunday, November 21, and help us pack shoeboxes as a church. We will be collecting items each Sunday for our packing party on Friday, November 19. For Sunday, September 12, we will be collecting school supplies. Find more information and view the schedule for items we are collecting here!

Snapshots!
Seasonal Jobs with Operation Christmas Child
For many people, a seasonal job can come in quite handy, especially over the holidays. “A seasonal job with an eternal purpose” that helps share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children is even better! Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child is looking for people to work in our Boone warehouse this Fall. We are looking for people who have a relationship with Christ and support the mission of Operation Christmas Child: To create Gospel opportunities for children through the delivery of gift boxes. Hiring is taking place for a variety of jobs, including customer service and warehouse associates. Positions include Team Coaches, Greeters, Inventory Coordinators, Forklift Operators, and Switch Drivers. We are always in particular need of folks able to load and unload trucks (lifting about 50 pounds). Please consider this valuable work and pass the word to friends and family! To apply, see Samaritan.org/careers

These are a variety of learning opportunities for you to deepen your faith with learning. Increased knowledge of God’s Word leads to increased devotion to Him -- we want to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
