Dear St. Mary’s Family,
We are beginning an important season of discernment about the future of our church’s land and the long-term sustainability of our mission. As we explore possibilities—like developing affordable housing on our property—we want to ensure that every voice is heard and valued.
We’ve created a short online survey to gather your thoughts, questions, and hopes. This is an opportunity to share what matters most to you and to help shape the path ahead. This is not a vote or a final decision—it’s a first step in listening deeply to our congregation as we move forward together in faith.
👉 Please take a few minutes to complete the survey here:

Wind Chime Workshop
Tuesday, April 29, 10am - 4pm, $30 includes supplies, lunch. Join the Episcopal Church Women for a day of creativity, community, and remembrance as we make wind chimes from beads, silverware, wood, and fishing wire. This workshop honors Susie Sheely, a beloved St. Mary’s member who began planning this event before her sudden passing this month at age 70. Susie’s artistic spirit and warm heart touched many, and we’re proud to carry out her vision. Each chime we create is a tribute to the Spirit moving through our lives—turning memory into beauty and love into sound. To register, contact Leslie Delaney, 760-653-8993.

Holy Week & Easter Services
Holy Week services are a gift unique from the Episcopal church. While it can be hard to set aside time during the week for church, we encourage you to come to as many of these sacred services as possible. They prepare your heart for Easter in a deep, rich way. Also, we need more volunteers and support in this special season. Look over this list and email Mother Hannah if you can help with providing items or volunteering for a role. Thank you!

Trans Testimony
Trans people have come under fire in our society as of late. We in the Episcopal Church support, uplift and honor people who are trans. Recently a trans person provided this beautiful testimony about their experience being raised in the church, and how they reconciled conflicting feelings about being queer and Christian. Read the testimony.

A Prayer for Joy in God's Creation
O heavenly Father, who hast filled the world with beauty: Open our eyes to behold thy gracious hand in all thy works; that, rejoicing in thy whole creation, we may learn to serve thee with gladness; for the sake of him through whom all things were made, thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
