Dear friends of the Center for Irish Music,

The renovations at the school are coming along beautifully! We are grateful to our students for their patience as they take lessons and classes amidst the construction. Thanks also to the Celtic Junction Arts Center for loaning us their classroom as we wait for ours to be ready to use. It's not too late to support the CIM's Expansion and Improvement Project! See below for more information, and look for a letter from us in your mailbox coming soon.

It was wonderful to see such a strong showing of CIM students and families at the Altan concerts at the Dakota this past Saturday. We hope to see you at the Celtic Junction Arts Center this Saturday for the Ye Vagabonds in concert (RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards Best Group), and again next Friday for the Iam (Irish Arts Minnesota) Honors event, honoring Tom Klein. CIM is proud to have Tom as one of our piping instructors!

Our ensemble students are working hard to prepare for the Youth Ensemble Holiday Concert on Saturday, November 19th at 3:00pm. If your Saturdays are busy, drop by for a tune with our instructors and staff at the Give to the Max Day session on Thursday, November 17th.

All the best,

Norah Rendell

CIM'S EXPANSION & IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

MATCHING FUNDS STILL AVAILABLE!

We are thrilled that so many of you have already stepped forward to support our Expansion & Improvement Project! The first phase of renovations (the new recital hall, classrooms, kitchenette and lobby) are nearing completion. Plans for phase two, an accessible entrance to our new space, are underway, but we still need your help to make it a reality!

We have just $30,000 left to raise, and you can make your tax-deductible gift go even further thanks to a generous match from Kim & Tim Scanlan!

Contact Norah Rendell with questions and for information about naming rights for our new spaces.

Thank you for helping us make room for the next generation!
