We have completed the Point in Time Count for 2023!

Thank you to all who participated! This huge undertaking would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from many to execute the Count!

Some housekeeping items to keep in mind:

• Client surveys from the night of the Point in Time Count may still be input via the online portal. If you need support for inputting surveys, please reach out. The portal will officially close at the ned of the day on Feb 10th.
• Return any paper copies of Volunteer Confidentiality Agreements to the Lead Agency by February 10th via PIT@moboscoc.org
• Complete the Post PITC Survey by Feb 10th. This acts as an additional record for organizations participating in the count.

If your organization receives funding from ESG, MOhip, MHTF, NOFO or more, it is imperative that you complete this survey for our record-keeping purposes.

The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) is an initiative designed to reduce the number of youth (under age 24) experiencing homelessness. In October 2022, Missouri Balance of State was awarded $6,857,269 by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop a community approach to ending youth homelessness.

The Coordinated Community Plan (CCP) focuses on the needs of youth, service providers, and housing interventions that the YHDP will fund.  We want to know what support young people need, the issues that youth face, and the resources to get safe and stable housing.

Our Service Provider Focus Session will take place on Wednesday, February 15th @ 2pm. The session will last 90 minutes. Members of our Youth Action Board and other youth with lived experience to attend. We invite our members to attend and provide feedback for youth needs in rural Missouri!
