SEPT.~MAY ~ Santa Cruz Valley Citizens Council (SCCC) ~ Meetings begin at 9 a.m. on the second Monday of each month from September through May, unless otherwise noted. If you live here please consider becoming a member of this organization. The Santa Cruz Valley Citizens Council is a non-profit Arizona corporation. Our purpose is to inform and educate members about local and regional issues affecting our community, and to advocate for members' views regarding these issues.
More than 500 members of the Citizens Council have influenced a wide range of issues, shaping the character and future of our community - issues including utility rates, mining, water and development. Meetings are at the Tubac Community Center, 50 Bridge Rd., Tubac.

Save the date for Mariachi Festival 2025 at Patagonia Lake State Park! Join us to enjoy a day of international mariachi dancing and bands from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Local food vendors and wineries will be on site, and fun activities for the kids will be available including a piñata. See the event schedule below and stay tuned for the musical performance lineup, organized by musical director Rafael Moron.
Enjoy tastings at the event's wine festival, meet fan-favorite Smokey Bear, and savor the delicious bites available for purchase.
Program is free but the standard park entrance fee applies.
