The Morris Plains Business Development Committee is coordinating special promotions between 1pm and 4pm next to Arthur’s with hot chocolate, candy canes, MP tote bags, a list of MP businesses and holiday flyers.

  • In the event that your recycling pick up was missed please call 973-538-2224 before 10 AM the day following collection (Wednesday at 10AM).

  • Please note that the recycing center will be closed 12/25 and 1/1 but curbside recycling will continue through the holidays.


Flu Shots
for Homebound Seniors and Adults with Disabilities
Morris County's Office on Aging, Disabilities, and Community Programming has partnered with Atlantic Health System to provide and administer flu shots to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities at no cost to the recipients.

To request an appointment for a flu shot, call Solangel Patarroyo at 973-971-7259 or reach out through email at: Solangel.Patarroyo@atlantichealth.org.

Tthe NJ Department of Community Affairs mailed out letters to households with overdue electric and natural gas bills to notify them that they may be eligible for assistance. If you received a letter, be sure to open it so that you can apply for credits on your utility accounts.

For other households who are in need of utility assistance, you may be eligible for assistance from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) or New Jersey Universal Service Fund (USF) programs. You can visit the DCAid Service Portal to find out which programs you may be eligible for and then apply
Resident donations are always appreciated at Interfaith Food Pantry and Resource Center - (mcifp.org).

Municipal Court Update

In an effort to maintain public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, the municipal court will continue to host remote virtual court sessions.  Please contact us to schedule a proceeding and/or provide updated personal information.   
If you are disputing a traffic ticket and do not wish to appear in court, many cases are now eligible for review through the Online Municipal Case Resolution System at njmcdirect.com. You may select the option for case dispute and enter your ticket information.  Eligible traffic tickets will be reviewed by the prosecutor and you will be notified with their recommendation. 
Our office is here to serve you during the hours of 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.   You may call the court to schedule an appointment at 973-538-4019. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service in "The Community of Caring" and strive to provide a satisfying court experience for all.   

Sign up for the Rave Alert System today. 
Rave is a notification tool utilized by the Morris Plains Police Department that notifies residents of road closures, upcoming events, impending severe weather and other news related events. Messages will be relayed via text message, phone call and/or email.
