The annual national conference of ACSESS - the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services – will be held on May 12th and 13th. Of course, special conditions lead to special measures: this year, the conference will be held entirely online. Alone or in a team, it will therefore be possible to attend these two days of conference from your office or in your living room (see below).
During a period during which social interactions are limited and the staffing industry - particularly in the health sector - undergoing restructuring, attending these conferences is an essential opportunity to keep abreast of changes and upcoming trends. Soft skills, new technologies, unconscious bias and, of course, Covid-19: the themes addressed are both varied and relevant for staffing specialists.

What is on the program?
During the two days of the conference, from around 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., participants - individually or by work team - will be able to attend lectures given by prestigious players in the staffing industry, whose experience as well as their analyzes are recognized and shared.
The program, available online, notably includes thematic sessions dedicated either to agency managers or to recruiters, to specialize in the speech and to allow everyone, within the agency, to find interest and profit in these two days.

For managers of staffing agencies specialized in the health sector, this can be a puzzle: how to keep track of candidates who are vaccinated? How can we follow up the screening of those who have not yet been screened?
The PRIM Logix team is standing by your side and has configured a solution that will get you going! Indeed, by creating a "vaccinated" criterion, it will be possible for agencies wishing to do so to keep a permanent record of candidates who have provided proof of their vaccine.
In addition, a setting even allows an automated email to be sent to candidates who have not yet been vaccinated, to remind them, every 48 hours, to provide a result of their last screening test.
In that way, the staffing agency will be able, with no effort, to provide proof of the monitoring of the vaccination status of its candidates and will protect itself from any prosecution while contributing to common protection against the virus.

The Canadian Nurses Association has chosen to give National Nursing Week, from May 10 to 16, a unifying theme that echoes a year in which caregivers were particularly in demand: #WeAnswerTheCall.
