Bread+Belonging Campus Ministry

You can support the students by buying a few groceries!

Bread+Belonging (B+B) is a free, weekly Tuesday night meal for students at St. Aidan’s. Always a veggie option. LGBTQ+ affirming. No religious demands. Just food and people. You can directly help B+B by signing up to bring food items for dinner on our website HERE. Our first dinner of 2025 is on Tuesday, January 14!

February 2025

Beloved Community Gospel Choir

Come sing with us this February as part of the Beloved Community Gospel Choir! The expanded choir will be led by Eric Smith and facilitated by Wes Leffingwell, St. Aidan's Music Director. Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays, and the choir will sing on Sundays at the 10am service, filling our worship with the spirit of gospel music. You are welcome to join whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to lift your voice in song. Visit St. Aidan’s Beloved Community Gospel for more details and to sign up.

Let’s Eat! – The Spring Sequel

Would you be interested in joining a St. Aidan’s Dinner Group?

Fellowship, Food, and Faith is a program of informal community-building where members get to know other parishioners beyond the occasional Sunday conversation — and to do that over shared meals. We had five Dinner Groups in the fall, and we’ve heard lots of positive feedback.

Once we know who’s interested, we’ll put together groups of 6-8 members, who will gather three times over February, March, and April. The meals can be at someone’s home, at the church, in a park or restaurant, or on Zoom. They can be hosted, or a potluck. They can be lunch, dinner, or afternoon tea. There can be kids or no kids. The groups will make all these decisions once they’re formed.

If you’re interested, please fill out THIS FORM no later than Sunday, Jan. 26, and we’ll be back in touch with you in early February.

12th Night Readers Theater - "Like Taking Frankincense from a baby"

Our 12th Night Potluck and Readers Theatre was a joyful close to the Christmas season! Parishioners feasted on a delicious and varied potluck. We shared fellowship before diving into a hilarious reading of "Like Taking Frankincense from a Baby," written by our own Kathy Reed. It was a wonderful evening of community and creativity—thank you to everyone who participated and made it special! View photos of the reading HERE.

Book Group meets every Wednesday on Zoom

St. Aidan's book group just began Emile Zola's “The Ladies’ Paradise" on January 8. You are welcome to jump into the discussion. Get the Zoom link to join and more information from Jim Paine HERE.

Writers Small Group

1st & 3rd Mondays 1pm to 2:30pm

The Writers Small Group is a creative group that shares our current writing (a poem, a short essay, a descriptive passage, or a spiritual meditation). The group reflects together and encourages each other. All levels of writing experience and skill are welcome! This group meets via ZOOM and in person. Contact Paul Voakes HERE for more details.

Safe Church Training (In-Person)

Saturday, January 18, 9:30am-2pm

Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, Broomfield

The Diocesan Office will cover the four Safe Church, Safe Communities Universal Training courses required for everyone needing to take Safe Church training. The in-person format allows for group conversation and sharing around these important topics. The training is appropriate for individuals seeking to obtain or renew Safe Church certification in these courses. Note: Depending on your ministry area, additional courses may be required, which can be taken online at any time. Questions? Reach out to Missioner Tracy Methe.
