Toshiba Announces 20TB MG10 Series Hard Disk Drives
Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation (Toshiba) has announced the launch of the MG10 Series, a massive capacity 20TB HDD with conventional magnetic recording (CMR). The 20TB MG10 Series has a 10-disk helium-sealed design that leverages Toshiba’s innovative Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording (FC-MAMR™) technology to boost storage capabilities.

Why choose Intel Silicon Photonics Transceivers?
Intel scale and vertical integration

  • We use Intel silicon manufacturing technology and scale for optics, for faster throughput and shorter lead-times.
  • Component production in Intel fabs USA and module assembly in Thailand/Vietnam (most transceiver competitors manufacture in China and are subject to US import tariffs).

What Is KumoScale?
NVMe-oF™ Storage Volume Orchestration at Scale - KumoScaleTM is software that implements a fast, networked NVMeTM flash storage service. It enables large scale data center operators to disaggregate solid state disks (SSDs) from compute nodes and share them efficiently over the network. Based on the NVM ExpressTM over Fabrics (NVMe-oF) standard, KumoScale software delivers the efficiency of shared storage while achieving performance very close to server-attached SSDs.

New XD7P Series - Data Center NVMe SSDs
Furthering its mission to address future enterprise infrastructure requirements, KIOXIA announced that it has expanded its broad portfolio of client, enterprise and data center SSDs with the addition of the XD7P Series. Designed for hyperscale and general server applications in the new Enterprise and Data Center Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) E1.S form factor, XD7P drives are the second generation of E1.S SSDs with Open Compute Project® (OCP®) Data Center NVMe® SSD 2.0 specification support from KIOXIA.
