Celebrate Spring with Wine & Chocolate, Read & Explore, Live Music, and Farm Fun at Terhune Orchards

Spring is only days away!

Here at Terhune Orchards, flowers are blooming, the farm animals are lounging in the sun, and seedlings are thriving in the greenhouse, getting ready for planting into the fields and high tunnels.

It's the perfect time to come for a visit!

Read & Explore: Getting Ready for Spring

Today, March 18 & This Saturday, March 22 at 10am

Terhune Orchards Read and Explore Program is our winter education series, following the popular seasonal Read and Pick Program.

Enjoy fun on the farm in winter! Read & Explore is a fun and educational program that combines hands-on activities with listening to a story. This hands-on educational program is a great cure for cabin fever and a way to stay connected to the farm during the winter months.

We will get ready to wake up from winter and prepare to start gardening. As St. Patrick’s Day is the traditional day to plant peas and spinach and get the garden ready, we will start our gardens too! Our reading is a selection from “Frog and Toad Are Friends.” Each child will plant seeds to take home.

Pre-registration is required. Each program costs $12 per participating child and includes the materials for the activity.

Wine & Chocolate Weekend

This Saturday & Sunday, March 22 & 23, 12-5pm

Enjoy sweet spring treats this weekend! Bring your favorite wine and chocolate lovers to sample our award-winning wines.

For this weekend, we are offering a special wine and chocolate pairing of locally made chocolates and Terhune wines. Chocolate pairing includes wine flight, chocolates, and a souvenir glass. We have partnered with Pierre’s Chocolates of New Hope, PA known for their old-world recipes and single-origin artisan chocolates.

Catch up with friends by the fire pits outside the winery. Inside the cozy wine barn, enjoy our 18 wine varieties. Enjoy live music from 1pm-4pm.

Join us for cheer in the winery and meet up with family and friends to enjoy live music every Saturday and Sunday this spring. Seating is available indoors amongst the wine tanks in our cozy wine barn and outdoors with firepits. Enjoy hot mulled wine, tasting flights of Terhune favorite wines, and wine by the glass.

All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. Light bites of cheese plates and chips & salsa baskets are available at the winery.

Perfect to enjoy with a glass of wine by the fire.

Our Annual Bunny Trail Spring Festival is One Month Away!

Saturday & Sunday, April 19 & 20, 10am-4pm

Spring has sprung on the farm! Hop along the Bunny Trail at this non-competitive event perfect for children of all ages. Follow a self-guided treasure hunt around the farm, discovering spring in the fresh open air. At the end of the trail, have fun with a bunny craft activity.

Experience the joys of the farm with a visit to the barnyard, play area, and nature trail. Have fun with the hippity hop corral, duckie races, pedal tractors, and children’s games. Take a break and listen to live music while enjoying homemade goodies from the Food Tent. Toast Spring's arrival with Terhune’s own wines.
