Pediatric Mental Health Services Expand - Thanks to You!

At the 2017 Kids at Heart lunch we brought you the story of Mary - a Spokane teen in crisis. Her parents were beside themselves with worry and feared for her life. They drove her to the Sacred Heart Emergency Room where Mary was directed to services that put her on a path to recovery.

Money raised at that lunch five years ago helped fund ER triage services for kids in crisis and helped hire staff to support the program.
Unfortunately, the need is bigger than ever
The pandemic has taken a toll on everyone - especially our kids.
While Providence has been able to expand our pediatric behavioral health services, our families still need support. That's where the Kids at Heart Giving Circle comes in.

Imagine if your child was in need of mental health care, but you had to choose between your child's care or paying your rent.
What if you come from a rural community where your internet isn’t strong enough for a virtual appointment and the rising cost of gas holds you back from coming to Spokane for care?

Our Kids at Heart Giving Circle donors help families that are facing financial hardship as a result of a medical crisis. Becaues of you, we can offer gas cards to help patients get to and from appointments, grocery vouchers to help cover expenses while patients are getting care and parents aren’t working, and so much more.

Don't all our kids deserve the best care? You can help make that happen! Become a Kids at Heart Giving Circle member today!
Your dollars make a difference
You can help ill and injured children in our community by being a recurring or one-time donor to the Kids at Heart Giving Circle.

  • $25 per month could provide a noise machine for an infant in our Eat, Sleep, Console drug withdrawal program.
  • $45 per month could help provide a family with lock box to secure household knives, sharp objects and prescription drugs, preventing access to a pediatric patient struggling with mental illness.
  • $60 per month could allow a parent to take their congenital heart disease baby/child home with a stethoscope to monitor their heart rhythms.
  • $100 per month could purchase a car seat, allowing an infant being discharged from the hospital to safely travel home.
