I've been making my Thanksgiving turkey using this recipe for years and it always turns out moist and amazing! It's fairly easy to follow as well.
The only thing I do differently is instead of placing my turkey on a metal rack inside the roasting pan is I clean large carrots and celery sticks and place them in the bottom of the pan to use as a "rack". I set my turkey right on top of the veggies and it makes the best broth/gravy.
I also cut up onions, garlic and sometimes an orange and lemon and surround the turkey with them inside of the pan.
Otherwise, I follow this recipe pretty much exactly. If you give this recipe a try this holiday season, I just know your guests will compliment you on a delicious turkey!
