Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project Update

Phase 3 of the Sea Pines Drive infrastructure repair project is underway with a completion time of Spring 2023.

• Red Cardinal Road 
• Stormwater drain pipe excavation and replacements are in progress in this area 

• Pedestrian access from Sea Pines Drive to Beachwalk #39 (between Red Cardinal Road and Whistling Swan Road) is currently closed.

• Sandhill Crane Road
• Weather permitting, roadway milling operations will begin the week of September 26 on Sandhill Crane Road, with roadway paving scheduled for completion by the end of the week.

• Roadway access will be maintained, but drivers should expect delays. 

• General Reminders
• Work will be performed Monday - Friday from 7 am - 6 pm. Flag persons will be present to control traffic, as needed.

• Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, and devices.

Beach Lagoon Pedestrian Timber Bridge Replacement In Progress

Construction of the new bridge is underway. Project work will take approximately 2-3 more weeks, weather permitting. During this time, pedestrians will need to use the detour to Beachwalk 35A as the bridge will not be available for use. Click here to view the suggested detour.

Pet Regulation and Leash Law Reminders

• Dogs must be restrained by a leash or fencing at all times (except when the no leash policy is permitted on the beach) and not allowed to bark for any duration that would disturb others.

• Pet owners, please be sure to always carry waste bags. Pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of in trash receptacles.

• A state-issued ticket can be issued to pet owners who do not have their pet/s properly leashed. For questions regarding regulations for leash laws in Sea Pines, please contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.

Land Use Rules and Regulations Property Appearance Reminders

• Roofs, gutters, driveways, and other hard surfaces shall be cleared of pine straw and other vegetative debris with reasonable frequency so that there is no accumulated buildup. 

• Downed trees shall be removed from the property. A downed tree is one in which all or part of the trunk is lying on the ground or on a structure (e.g., house, car another tree), and/or is uprooted. 

• Ground cover (mulch, pine straw) shall be applied periodically to maintain a neat, clean appearance. Ground (dirt, sand) shall not be exposed without landscaping or ground cover.

South Island Public Service District Potable Drinking Water Pipeline Upgrade Project

SIPSD, the utility company providing water and wastewater services in Sea Pines, will undertake a major infrastructure upgrade and replacement project to their potable water drinking line from Dunnagans Alley to Baynard Park Road, inside of Sea Pines. Click here to learn more about the project.

2022 Sea Pines Community Yard Sale Cancellation Notice

Due to lack of participation, the Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation has made the decision to cancel the 2022 Community Yard Sale that was scheduled for 10/1/22. If you have turned in an application, you may retrieve it from the Sea Pines CSA Administration Office during normal business hours (M-F 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM). If you are unable to stop by the office, please contact David Henderson at 843.671.7827 or by email at wildlife@csaseapines.com.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve Advisory Board Member Application Available

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve is one of the most significant amenities available to our property owners and guests in our community. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is responsible for the management and oversight of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Advisory Board consists of Sea Pines property owners that provide advice on matters concerning and expanding on the use, maintenance and potential improvements to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. If you are interested in serving on the Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Advisory Board, you may apply by completing an application which can be found here. 

Please submit your completed application via email to sandra@csaseapines.com or deliver/mail it to Community Services Associates, Inc. 175 Greenwood Dr. Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 by Thursday, December 1, 2022.
