November 17th – NHHF 15th Annual California Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship Gala
HIVMA and the IDSA Foundation are accepting applications for the 2023-24 HIV Clinical Fellowship. The program supports physicians who are not trained in infectious diseases to pursue one year of HIV clinical training under the mentorship of an HIVMA member at clinical sites serving medically underserved populations. The application will close Dec. 12.

NHMA's Phoenix Chapter was proud to participate in the EndoCares Community Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, October 22! This community-focused event included giveaways and raffles for both kids and adults, fitness and health demonstrations, health insurance information, art therapy, and free health screenings.
NHMA's Nevada Chapter was excited to hold the NV NHMA LatinX Health and Equity Conference: Advocacy for Health Topics Impacting Latinx Community on Saturday, October 22! Learners enhanced their knowledge around health and equity impacting the Latinx community and had an opportunity to network and meet, therefore creating a community-building event for the Latinx medical community.
NHMA's Northern California Chapter held their event "Latinx Physician Leaders in California" on Monday, October 24 to meet and mingle with Latinx leaders in California! Attendees gained insight and support through collaborative activities that will encourage Latinx students to enter and succeed in the healthcare profession.
