Spring has sprung! I love this season as flowers and trees bloom, as if coming back to life again. I especially love this time of year because, as believers, we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, the greatest comeback in history. I am thankful every day that we serve a risen Savior and have the privilege of sharing the good news that Jesus is alive and is our only Hope! I trust that each of you is sharing this great news with others. I pray that many in our communities will respond to the Gospel by placing their faith and trust in Christ!

This time of year also means we are gearing up for our summer ministries. We are already preparing for another great year of camps. This year, we will have a weekend camp for our youth in grades 6-12 on May 29-31. I am very excited that we will be having this camp again for our youth. More information about our camps will be coming soon, but if you have children or youth you would like to register, you can find the application for all of our camps on our website at www.southcentralbaptistnetwork.com. We will need several camp missionaries to serve at all of the camps. We are looking for both adults and high school students to assist this summer. The application for summer missionaries will be available on our website soon, and we will also put it on Facebook. Please begin praying for our camps, that God will move in a mighty way and that many will give their lives to Christ.

Next month, we will have our second annual Senior Adult Inspirational Service and Luncheon on May 16th at 10:30 AM at Northern Heights Baptist Church. We are looking forward to a wonderful time of worship led by Steve Williams, Minister of Music at Pinecrest Baptist Church. We will also have Chris Reynolds from the Georgia Baptist Mission Board bringing the message. After the service, we will enjoy a great time of food and fellowship. I hope that all of our senior adults from our churches will make plans to attend!



I appreciate all our pastors and churches, and I pray that we will be known as a network of churches that love our communities. May God use us to fulfill the Great Commission and the Acts 1:8 mandate!
