Fellowship Donations Now Accepted

We are now accepting donations to assist our hospitality ministry with fellowship snacks at Hope Central Campus and Hope at the Everglades Rec Center.

Each Sunday, we offer fellowship time and refreshments free of charge. Many people have asked if they can donate toward the refreshments. Therefore, we have placed baskets out during fellowship at these campuses for anyone who wishes to donate.

Donations are not required but are greatly appreciated. If you would like to contribute, look for the basket with the green sign at our next fellowship event.

Parking Team Announcements

Hope extends our thanks to Wayne King for leading our Parking Team for many years. Wayne has done a fantastic job prioritizing safety and convenience, and helped make our special events welcoming for members and guests alike. He will retire from the Parking Team this year, and we will deeply miss him.

We are now in search of a new leader for our Parking Team. This person will help facilitate parking at Hope's special events.

If you are interested in assisting, please contact the church office at (352) 750-2321.

My Time for Free Time Team Seeking Volunteers

The My Time for Free Time Ministry Team is a respite program for people who have Alzheimers, Parkinsons, strokes, or other special needs who require 24/7 care. We meet every Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm to care for these individuals so their caregivers may do things they are otherwise unable to do.

The program provides a supervised environment where caregivers can drop off family members who have special needs for a few hours each week. Members of the My Time for Free Time Team provide games and entertainment.

The goal each week is to have one volunteer with each My Timer. Currently, we are having difficulty meeting that goal.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to volunteer to make a huge impact with just a couple hours each week. Volunteers are not expected to attend all sessions. Applications are available at the church office. If you are uncertain if this is a Ministry for you, consider visiting, observing, and talking to Volunteers. Please consider joining us for an afternoon of fun and helping others.

For more information, contact My Time for Free Time Team Leader Bob Janson by email at rjanson1939@gmail.com or by phone at (352) 391-0373.
