December 13, 2021
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,

Happy third week of Advent! Lighting our Advent wreath this morning, compared to last week was wonderful!! The students are getting very excited about our Christmas Concert coming up this week. They have been practicing and are ready to perform. I appreciate the flexibility of everyone with the concert this year. Because we have fewer classes singing at each concert Mrs. Koscinski was able to include more songs for each grade level! The students are definitely ready to perform! (See specific concert times below in upcoming dates.)

This week Wednesday we will celebrate our December birthday’s at 7:45 Mass. Students with December birthdays may have a dress-up day (no jeans or sweats) and will be called forth to receive a special blessing at Mass. Parents, as always are welcome to attend.

Also on Wednesday, the parish and school staff will be celebrating Christmas with a luncheon. In order for all to participate, I am in need of extra helpers for all areas of duty on Wednesday, December 15th. Wednesday is supposed to be a beautiful day weather-wise! If you are able to help out in the lunchroom, kitchen, health room, or playground, please call the school office. I would like to get as many extra helpers as I can. Help is needed from 11:30 – 12:40. Thanks in advance for your help! It is nice to gather the entire staff together!

We will not have a newsletter next week. Please let me take this opportunity to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and all good things in the New Year!

Blessings!

Mrs. Ellen Knippel
