Outdoor winter fun in Skokie

Explore a few of the Skokie Park District's outdoor venues!


• Discover a variety of outdoor activities at Emily Oaks Nature Center.

• Attend Winter Chilly Fest at Emily Oaks Nature Center.

• Visit the sledding hill at Schack Park.

• The Mini Marshmallow 3K at Laramie Park is a 1.9 mile fun run for kids!

• Play pickleball at these parks.

• Take your dog to Pooch Park (membership required).

• Play table tennis at Laramie Park.

• Skateboard at Channelside Park.

• Play tennis at these parks.

• Hit golf balls in the heated stations at Skokie Sports Park or at our indoor simulator, The Bunker.

• Visit the outdoor exercise stations at Central ParkLaramie Park and on the Skokie Valley Trail.

• Make a snowman at any park!

This guide offers you a convenient look at all 60 of our summer camps including art camps, general camps, nature camps, sports camps, teen and tween camps, and special interest camps, prior to registration on February 9.
