Just as a reminder, the St. Peter School lunch program pricing for school year 2022-23:

Student lunch (includes 1/2 pint of milk and Salad Bar) $2.75 each

A la carte (meat) $2.00

A la carte (veggie) $1.50

Milk (1/2 pint 1% white, chocolate or skim) .50 cents each

A brief description of the difference between an extra main entree and an extra side entree:

Main entree....any food providing protein for the lunch...hamburger, chicken products, grilled cheese sandwich, mozzarella cheese sticks, sausage links...etc.

Side entree...any food other than protein...soups, veggies, fruits, grains.

Also a reminder to all students...desserts are always free for all students. If you could remind them in case there are new students who may not know about it....thank you and please reach out if you have any questions...

Pricing continues to rise daily for food, labor, and energy. We will try to keep pricing as low as possible to help each student have an enjoyable, healthy lunch.

This is will all be billed/paid through your FACTS Family Portal, so be sure your financial information is set up and complete.

Lunch is a prepaid account (through your FACTS Family Portal) with a minimum of $10 to start with. FACTS will send you notifications to add money to the account once you get below the $10 minimum.

From October 1-31, 2022, all shoppers at  www.tinysaints.com will have the option to select St. Peter Catholic School from a dropdown menu during checkout to support our fundraiser for the seventh and eighth-grade retreats. There’s no heavy lifting for parents, family, and friends. Just share this post or email a link when our fundraiser begins! Coming soon - - details on how to order official St. Louis Cardinals calendars. As a Cardinals fan, you’ll love the oversized wall calendar with great photography and the 2023 schedule. Calendars will be received in time for holiday gift giving. Be watching for order details soon.  

The Central Missouri Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all of their sacrifices. The group transports our heroes from throughout Central Missouri to Washington D.C., to visit and reflect at their memorials at no cost to them. The Central Missouri Honor Flight is funded by donations from individuals, organizations and businesses. 

St. Peter Catholic School will be raising funds to help send veterans on the next Honor Flight with the purchase of a special spirit wear shirt. A portion of each shirt sold will be donated to the Central Missouri Honor Flight on Veterans Day. This spirit wear shirt is not just for St. Peter Catholic School families; please feel free to share the link with friends and family.  The order deadline is October 21st in hopes that shirts will be available to wear for Veterans Day, November 11th.

The Fall Gifts fundraiser ended Friday, September 9, 2022. Your items will be delivered October 12^th and sent home with your child.  If you ordered more than you think your child can handle, please contact block@stpeterjc.org to make other arrangements for pick up.

The next fundraiser is the Braided Bread. It will begin September 23^rd. 

I know it seems like we have a lot of fundraisers, but don’t forget the fundraisers here at St Peter all go towards the family. You can participate in as many of them as you want to.  We try to offer a wide variety of items that might interest you to sell to your friends and family.   

A successful candidate is a practicing Catholic in good standing who can minister to students regardless of subject area, or a teacher who, consistent with the Mission of St Peter School, promotes and teaches the Catholic faith as reasonably determined by the principal. Applicants should hold the appropriate Missouri teaching certification or its equivalent. All interested persons should complete the application on the Jefferson City Diocesan website and contact the Principal, Mrs. Gayle Trachsel at Gtrachsel@stpeterjc.org.

The September St. Peter Church schedule for Liturgical Ministers, including altar servers, can be found on our parish app or on the new Community Church Building website, HERE  If you cannot see you or your child’s serving assignment for September, please contact the Parish Office to get help.

St. Peter Church has entered the mobile age with a new app designed just for St. Peter Parish! The app works on iPhones or Android phones.

You can download the link by scanning the QR code.

This new app will allow you to access your profile, ministry groups, upcoming events, make donations online or pay for Mass intentions, candles, etc. You will be able to keep track of your giving, see your giving history at a glance, and make changes.

You will also be able to update your contact information yourself. You will no longer have to call the Parish Office to have your email, phone or address updated when a change occurs.

We are very excited to launch this new method to keep you up-to-date with St. Peter Parish. As you utilize the new app, we ask that you send suggestions, comments and questions to our Communications Director, Kathleen Lavery at communications@saintpeterjc.org.

An ACTIVE Parishioner:

• Is registered in the parish
• Regularly participates in Mass and the Sacraments
• Sacrificially tithing to the parish
• Is involved in parish activities and ministries as noted on the annual Parish Stewardship Commitment of Time, Talent and Treasure form

We are excited to announce that this year’s St. Peter School Fall Musical will be the one and only Lion King! The show opens on Friday, October 21 at 7:00 PM. The final show is Saturday, October 22 at 7:00 PM in Selinger gym. Tickets will be $7 for adults and $5 for students. Be on the lookout for presale information for tickets!
