This year, we are asking attendees at our Holiday Luncheon to bring items for the Medina County Home residents.

Each day, the residents enjoy "Coffee Shop & Current Events". They have a beverage and a staff member reads the paper and discusses current events. Sometimes they just read joke books and laugh!

The Medina County Home is funded by the support of Medina County residents which allows them to offer a place to live to Medina County residents who do not have any or have very little income.

The Medina County Home relies on donations from the community to help support extra activities, like "Coffee Shop & Current Events" for its residents beyond the basic necessities.
Here is a list of items
that are needed:

  • Maxwell House Coffee (Breakfast Blend or Original)
  • White Sugar (preferably packets)
  • Sweet 'n Low Sugar (pink packets/name brand or generic)
  • Powdered Creamer (plain or flavored)
  • Raspberry Zinger Tea
  • Mint Medley tea bags
  • Peppermint tea bags
  • Plain tea bags
  • Napkins
  • Paper Towel Rolls
  • Sugar-Free Hot Chocolate (individual packets)
  • Word Search/Activity Books (regular and large print)
  • Joke Books
  • Fun Coffee Mugs (non-disposable)
  • Sandwich Crackers (individually packaged)
  • Sugarless Gum
  • Lollipops
  • New & Unused hats, scarves and gloves
Thank you to our members for donating prizes to make our event merry & bright!
