Wood & Fifth Streets!

Asphalt repair work is scheduled to begin in mid-September in areas such as Legacy Park, Wood and Fifth Streets (behind Bemos), Dardenne Farms Drive, and Legacy Park Trails.  Asphalt repairs in Legacy Park will cause some of the parking spaces to be temporarily closed off. Legacy Park parking lot will soon feature additional parking spaces, a new drive isle, re-sealed and stripped along with removing some rocked areas.
Main Street Now Under Construction!

The southern portion of Main Street is now under construction in old town historic Cottleville. The improvements include: curbs, sidewalks, street parking, street signage and street lighting that would look like our recent improvements currently on 5th Street, Chestnut Street and the northern portion of Main Street. The project is funded by the Cottleville Community Improvement District.

Additional Area Road Project Updates:
Highway N/Weiss Road
Weather permitting, drivers may soon be moved over to driving on the new concrete pavement on some portions of the Highway N and Weiss Road construction project. The next phase of the project would then be to remove the old roadway surface and install a four way traffic signal. Utility relocation was lengthy but now complete. This is a St. Charles County Road Board Project that plans to improve the traffic patterns at this location. A new trail will also be included along the east side of Weiss Road connecting into the existing trail system. This project is funded and managed by the St. County Road Board. Please visit their website for more information:sccmo.org

Gutermuth Road & Overpass
MoDOT and the St. Charles County Road Board have finished constructing an overpass on Page/364 at Gutermuth. Landscaping with fountain grasses and lairiope will be added to the roundabouts. Lighted signage will be added to the overpass as well. The St. Charles County Road Board has also dedicated funding to straighten and widen Gutermuth Road on to Motherhead Road including an 8 foot wide multi-use trail to be constructed on both sides of Gutermuth Road. Design and right of way acquisition continues at this time which has delayed phase 3 of the project. For more information: sccmo.org

Hwy N Overlay and New Sidewalk
The City has partnered with MoDOT and the St. Charles County Road Board to provide improvements to Highway N between Mannino's Market and Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Plans include an asphalt overlay, striping and a new sidewalk on the south side of Highway N. Design and right-of-way work continues.

City Wide Street Slab Replacement Underway!
In previous years, the City has made street slab repairs and replacements within several Cottleville neighborhoods through a work order process with the St. Charles County Highway Department, starting first with aged subdivisions. In an effort to take a proactive approach on additional needed street slab repairs, the City recently selected a contractor through a bid process that will begin a massive street slab replacement project through out the City in subdivisions, such as; Courtyards at Harmony Ridge, Fairfield Manor, Dardenne Farms, and Columbus Pointe. Construction should begin later this month. To report slab(s) or sidewalk(s) in need of repair at any time, please contact [email protected] or 636-498-6565 dial 6.
