The trail and pathway along Highway N, now known as the Jim Hennessey Trail, will soon be extended to the Manors of Meadowlake subdivision at the western edge of the City limits. The City plans to seek bids through an RFP process and should select a contractor in September. The trail is part of the Dardenne Greenway and improvements will include an 8 foot wide asphalt trail extension from Dardenne Farms. Construction should begin this fall.

In previous years, the City has made street slab repairs and replacements within several Cottleville neighborhoods through a work order process with the St. Charles County Highway Department, starting first with aged subdivisions. In an effort to take a proactive approach on additional needed street slab repairs, the City recently selected a contractor through a bid process that will begin a massive street slab replacement project through out the City in subdivisions, such as; Courtyards at Harmony Ridge, Fairfield Manor, Dardenne Farms, and Columbus Pointe. Construction should begin later this month. To report slab(s) or sidewalk(s) in need of repair at any time, please contact [email protected] or 636-498-6565 dial 6.
