UBalt Law Prof. Gilda Daniels and Indiana University Prof. John Holden join Koller on the panel, which is moderated by UBalt Law Prof. Will Hubbard. Register.


UBalt Centennial Block Party


As its centennial year continues, UBalt presents a “supersized” edition of Rock the Block, its annual spring tradition.This family-friendly festival, from 11 to 4 on Saturday, April 12, features live music and dancing in the streets, delicious food and drinks, strolling entertainment and street theater, interactive games/giveaways, and a makers market featuring UBalt staff, students and alumni.

Susan Farag, J.D. ’98, was promoted to senior budget and policy analyst for the Montgomery County Council in Maryland.


Taren Butcher, J.D. ’07, has been promoted to group general counsel at MarketSource.


Jessica Gorsky, J.D. ’15, has joined Gordon Feinblatt as a member in its Trusts and Estates practice.


Brett Baldino, J.D. ’15, LL.M. ’16, has joined Gordon Feinblatt as a member in its Trusts and Estates practice.


Kati Brady, J.D. ’15, was promoted to vice president and managing general counsel at Radiology Partners.

Maame Nyamekye, J.D. ’16, has been named associate general counsel at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General.


Michael Pollock, J.D. ’17, has been named a partner at Shapiro, Sher, Guinot & Sandler in Baltimore.


Matthew L. Allison, J.D. ’19, has joined the board of directors for the Harford County (Md.) Public Library Foundation in Maryland.


Joshua Perry, J.D. ’20, has been named to the Afro News’ list of Who’s Who in Black Baltimore for 2025.


Camille Pappy, J.D. ’22, became an attorney support FAST supervisor at Latham & Watkins in Washington, D.C.


Caterina Sorrento, J.D. ’22, is an associate with Evans Law in Annapolis.

Garrick Ross, J.D. ’23, is an associate at Ogletree Deakins in Atlanta.


Dean LaPonzina, J.D. ’24, is a judicial law clerk at the Florida Second District Court of Appeal in Tampa, Fla.

 

Haley Wittstadt, J.D. ’24, has been promoted to staff attorney at Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland.

John “Jack” Connolly, J.D. ’74, of Centerville, MA, passed away on Mar. 5, 2025.


Joseph Addison Vansant, J.D. ’88, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Feb. 14, 2025.


Bonnie Ardinger Winders, J.D. ’96, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Feb. 8, 2025.
