Performances:

Check out the performances page in company corner. Make sure to save the dates for our upcoming shows.

  • All company students will be expected to attend all shows whether their dances are scheduled to perform or not. There are many skills that the students can learn, by watching and listening. We will be redoing some of the pieces to include the currant roster of company students, and placing all the dancers we can in any given show. I have also strongly encouraged the new company members to learn the finale as I will place them in the number when I am confident they know the choreography. We will set up rehearsals for these upcoming shows and posting them on company corner. If a student is unable to attend due to a family commitment or illness they need to email us prior to the scheduled rehearsal. We encourage the students themselves to communicate the conflicts.

Performance Page

Gala:

The Gala date has changed from what was in the last update. Please look at the performance page in company update.

Annual Performance:

Our annual show at the Portsmouth Music Hall in June has been confirmed. This is a change from our original target date due to previously scheduled events. We will be evaluating potential conflicts and options for the number of shows and times. Our goal is to have 3 performances (2 evening and 1 matinee), at this time we have booked June 2nd, June 3rd (evening only) & June 4th. It is unlikely we will have shows on all those days and have also posted the rehearsal dates held the previous week in the calendar online. Please note this on your calendars today!

Sea Festival of Trees:

The Sea Festival of Trees date has changed. Please see the "performance" page in company corner.

Workshops:

Some more workshops have been added to Company Corner. Please check back in as more dates will be solidified. I will do my best to remind you all of upcoming workshops in company updates.

Workshop Schedule

Competition 2023:

We have chosen to participate in the Groove Competition held in Andover, MA this season. At this time we do not know what pieces we will be taking as we have not yet started the school year! Because of the popularity of this location we have pre-registered for the April 14-16 weekend and have waitlisted for the March 10-12 weekend. Our participation will be on one of the days only (not all 3) and we will not know the specific day until later. In years past it has been on Saturday or Sunday and we will make that request again. We realize the April date is close to the Ma school spring vacation week (their last day before break being April 14th), we understand there may be a conflict with any pre planned family trips/plans. Our goal is to get the dates out to you now so you may plan appropriately. If you already know there is a conflict please let us know so we may adjust accordingly. We will maintain contact with Groove and keep you posted on any movement on the waitlisted March dates. Thank you!

Breast Cancer Walk:

We are thrilled to be a part of this annual tradition. Senior Holly Saunders is in charge of registration of the group, students are not required to fundraise. In the past they have been one of the top 3 fundraisers! They will be performing previous to the walk and we would like all our company members to participate in the walk following the dedication ceremony. Parents and family are welcome to join in as it is a wonderful cause and a chance to meet one another.
