Steppin' into September
The year is surely flying by! As the seasons change from Summer to Fall, the only thing remaining the same is that there's always something fun happening. In this edition of NB Notes we invite you to join us as we celebrate our 28th annual Historic Day celebration and Grandparents' Day. We take a tour of Flawless Flooring and proudly announce our September Business of the Month. We provide an update from the NB public library, and we get you prepped for another round at our Beer Garden at Malone Park.

Happy Labor Day
We will be CLOSED on Monday, 9/6 in observance of Labor Day. We will be back in the office on Tuesday, 9/7. Have a happy and safe weekend!
Happy Grandparents' and Historic Day!
Join us Sunday, 9/12 at 12 PM as we celebrate grandparents and the History of our fine City.

The 28th annual event will include tours, fun activities, and plenty of food and drinks.

Bring the family, and let's have a great time!

Public Safety Open House

Join us on Saturday, 9/11/21, at 8:30 AM as the NBPD & NBFD host a community open house event located at the public safety building grounds.

A fun, action packed day is in store highlighted by a pancake breakfast and show and tell.
Flawless Flooring
Last week the Mayor and City Staff visited our August Business of the Month, Flawless Flooring. We had a wonderful time touring and learning about this great company!

Download the free "Drive Sober" mobile app to help designate a safe driver or find a ride home. 

During the Labor Day holiday there is typically see an increase in drunk-driving deaths. The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign runs from August 18 -September 6, and aims to educate people about the dangers and consequences of driving drunk.

Gabbin' About Garbage
Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will not be garbage/recycling pickup service on Monday 9/6

All garbage/recycling pickup will be delayed by one day throughout the week of 9/6.
Updated Recycling Center Hours:

The Recycling Center is temporarily closed on Thursdays, but only thru September 16th. This is due to the upcoming construction of the DPW Storage building.

The Center is still open normal hours on Tuesday and Saturday.

Covid 19 Vaccine Assistance Hotline Now Available!
For vaccine help, Wisconsin residents can now
call 844-684-1064.
Click the button below to view the interactive map which helps residents connect with vaccine providers in the area thereby easing the process of knowing where vaccines are available and which parts of the population each site is serving.

for $100
If you get your first dose of any COVID-19 vaccine from a vaccine provider located in Wisconsin beginning August 20th through September 6th, you are eligible to get $100. Everyone who is eligible to receive the free COVID-19 vaccine is eligible to receive this gift card, regardless of insurance, ID, or citizenship.
