Finals Week Uniform
Monday: Everyday Uniform Dress.
Tuesday—Thursday: Casual Uniform Dress.
Attendance Policy
Students must check in with Mrs. Gutierrez before leaving campus and when arriving late. Without checking in, these absences may be an indicator of a cut class. 

Starting next semester we will not be retroactively changing attendance if it is over one week in the past.
Advent Donation Drive - Dec. 13
Monday is the last day to donate to this year's Advent project drive to help the dear neighbor. Learn more

Freshmen: slime, clay, charcoal pencils, and sensory art items
Sophomores: resistance bands, jump ropes, and free weights
Juniors: yoga mats, deflated yoga balls, and free weights
Seniors: paper and canvas, colored pencils, markers, paint, and basic musical instruments
PowerSchool Closing - Dec. 14
PowerSchool will close Tuesday, December 14 at 8:00 AM until January 4, 2022. Parents and students will not have access to PowerSchool grades while the portal is closed; however, you can still communicate with teachers.

Schoology will stay open, but PowerSchool is the official grade of record. Email Katie Almonte with any questions or concerns.
STEM Trip Spots Available - Register by Jan. 31
We have four spots left for the STEM Trip to Switzerland, Germany, and Austria in May. The last day to register is January 31. Tour the BMW Factory, journey into a salt mine, and stand on top of Mt. Pilatus in the Swiss Alps. Reach out to Mrs. Schooler for more information.
Transportation
No Parking Spots Available
Our parking lot for students is full. There are no more available spaces for this academic year. Students can park at Shadelands.
Morning Shuttle Registration
Registration for the spring semester on the Morning Shuttle is now open! First come, first serve. Register here.
No CAC Shuttle
The after-school shuttle to the CAC will not run next week, Dec. 14-17
Athletics
Reminders

All fall sport athletes must return team uniforms before leaving for break. Uniforms should be clean and in a bag with the athlete's name on it. Drop uniforms off in the container outside the Athletics office.

Spring sports tryouts start in February. Registration must be complete before tryouts. Instructions can be found on the Athletics Page.

Christmas at Carondelet
Christmas Concert
Congratulations to the incredible performances from Carondelet and De La Salle's choir and band! Their combined grand finale of "12 Days of Christmas" proved that the best way to spread holiday cheer is by singing loudly for all to hear.
Candy Canes
On Friday ASB had candy canes available for students to gift to friends and teachers in honor of the holiday season. More than 1,000 candy canes were passed out ahead of Finals week.
Sweater Weather
Students, faculty, and staff were invited to bust out their best Christmas sweaters this week, and they did not disappoint! The creativity and holiday spirit added a lot of fun to the end of the week.
College + Career
Seniors/Juniors: Make sure to send any Jan. 1 essays to your counselor by Monday, Dec. 13 if you would like feedback and edits.

Congrats Jefferson Award Winners!
The recipients of the fall Jefferson Awards are Madeline Brown-Vega '25, Karlie Makhoul '23, and Christine Xue '23. We will be recognizing them at an awards ceremony in the spring. Congratulations to these three students for committing to extraordinary service in their communities!
Liturgy
Spiritual Life Council and Ms. Griffith's 7th-period class came together to put on a liturgy celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
