Messy Meetups

Come explore the 'forest school' with your little one at Southaven Park! Messy Meetups is an outdoor all-weather program designed to expose families to the concept of child-directed messy outdoor play, and to meet other families with young children who also love to be outside! Each week we will focus on a different creative activity, and also have freedom to explore. Children 2-5 years with an adult.

All About Bats @ the William Floyd Estate

They’ve been called creepy, scary, and spooky, but bats are an important local species. Let us surprise you with all the ways that bats impact our daily lives. Meet us at the Historic William Floyd Estate, 245 Park Avenue, Mastic Beach, to learn All About Bats with the Park Rangers and for a Bat House Building Workshop. Register to build your own bat house, 1 kit per household. Materials fee: $20.00 (non-refundable).
