How Madison Homeowners Can Future-Proof Their Home Through Remodeling
Technology plays a huge part in our lives, and it’s constantly changing. Without careful attention, we can soon find our homes lacking the ability to accommodate the latest advances. But with professional remodeling that’s focused on the long term, you can enjoy many of the benefits of a continually up-to-date house.

Here are some ways you can future-proof your home.
A 1912 Craftsman Bungalow Transformed
Many homes have the right amount of space but need a little work to help the space function for its occupants. Such was the case with this Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood home, where the homeowners wanted to add beauty and efficiency without adding more square footage. This craftsman bungalow was built in 1912 and purchased for the homeowner’s daughter, who was attending the University of Wisconsin.

This thoughtful design shows how creatively reworking existing square footage can result in a living space that fits your needs exactly.

What is Nextdoor and Why Should I Use It?
At its essence, Nextdoor is a social platform used to connect neighbors. Imagine a platform like Facebook, but instead of your newsfeed being filled with friends and family, it's the people who live in your neighborhood. To join Nextdoor, you can download it for iOS or Android or sign up on its website

After logging in, you'll see that people generally post neighborhood updates, missing or found pets, items for sale, and the network can be used to alert everyone about suspicious activity. It is also a platform where neighbors routinely ask for recommendations for home remodeling, repair, real estate, and maintenance. Speaking of recommendations for home remodeling....(hint! hint!) :)
Product Trends: Comfort Height Toilets
Toilets have come a long way with impressive features like self-cleaning functions to auto flush capabilities. But when choosing a new toilet, many of our clients select comfort height toilets for their bathroom remodels.

Traditional toilets are 15 inches high. Comfort height toilets (or "right height" toilets) have higher seats than conventional toilets, usually between 17 inches and 19 inches, and are ADA compliant.
