APRIL 2022
Welcome to April! It's unbelievable that we are into the second quarter of the year. April abundantly possesses the positive vibes one would certainly anticipate as the beginning of spring. A symbol of leading a balanced life with growth, moving on with a bright and positive perspective, the month of April also has a varied variety of rich history, trivia, and myths.

Even the most famous author in history, William Shakespeare was born in April as well as Leonardo DiVinci! They say people that are born in April are smart and have excellent memories!

Thank you to all of our readers of our "Airways Insider" newsletter and Have a blessed Easter!

Congratulations to our April Employee of the Month, Evan Wilkerson!
Employee of the Month - Evan Wilkerson !
"Evan has been with Airways for just over 3 years now. His growth as an operator has been quick and significant. After spending 3 years on night handling every aspect of our business he came to days to handle his own accounts. He comes to work early every day except that one time when he had a “tornado” hit close to his house (probably should have left a little earlier that day).

Evan always has a smile on his face and a willingness to help whoever is on the other side of an e-mail or phone call. He is a very well rounded employee and we are very thankful to have him on our team. Thank you Evan for all you do. Great job and well deserved."

~ Erik Fortin, Director of Operations, Product/Domestic Services
"Evan always has a great attitude regardless of what’s going on. He handles everything that’s thrown at him with a professional and calming demeanor which is key when things get a little bumpy. He did a great job while working night Operations and continues to be a key asset in our domestic product division. Congrats Evan, well deserved!"

~ Brock Wood, Director of Operations, Trade Show Services
"I have nothing but good things to say about Evan. His first night on Night ops, Evan showed up ready to work and learn as much possible. He was a great asset on the night crew, always eager to work and assist his fellow co-workers. His transition to Domestic ops will only make the department better in the long run. I only see good things in his future with Airways."

~ Hollis Hatch, Manager, Night Operations
Ukraine Efforts

Major kudos to Airways Freight and Dakota Parsley for their efforts in getting emergency medical supplies as close as they could to the Ukrainian border, which was then transported by a doctor that moved it the last mile.  The Globus shipment moved over to Germany and then hot shotted to the Ukraine border in hopes of helping many people.
A big shoutout to Dale, Ken, and Denny for making it possible to win some of the hottest tickets in town!  With an amazing set, cast and production, critically acclaimed and Tony Award Winning “Hamilton” was everything and more.

An American Broadway production being sung and rapped through a musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda.  It tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.  If you get a chance to see Hamilton, go!
