Work Zone Traffic Control Requalification
Are you a qualified Work Zone Traffic Control Technician or Supervisor who completed their training in 2011?  If so, then it's time to renew your qualification.

The requalification course provides three hours of classroom instruction with one hour of testing.  You must be present for the entire course and successfully pass the test to requalify.

Upcoming Course Dates
May 25 - Mountain Arts Center, Prestonsburg
July 13 - Fairfield Inn Lexington North
September 14 - Lake Barkley State Resort Park, Cadiz

A WZTC Technician Requalification and WZTC Supervisor Requalification will be offered on each of the above dates.  Technician Requalification is offered from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon.  Supervisor Requalification is offered from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Qualified supervisors only need to requalify for the WZTC Supervisor Requalification.  You do not need to requalify for the WZTC Technician Requalification.

If you have multiple employees who need the requalification course, on-demand training may be a good option for you.  On-demand trainings are presented to provide low-cost training to agencies.

For additional information about scheduling a requalification on-demand course, contact Megan Perrin at 859-257-7405, or [email protected]

Jen was born in Blytheville, Arkansas, but only lived there six months.  Her dad was a career Air Force officer so in addition to Arkansas, she has called Alaska, California, Indiana, Virginia and finally Kentucky home.

After graduating from Atherton High School in Louisville, Jen attended Hanover College in Indiana.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.

Jen comes to T2 from UK HealthCare where she developed a training program for new dictation software and assisted in developing training for a new Electronic Health Record system.  She also trained the physicians and nurses on how to use various software programs.

During her spare time, Jen likes making handmade greeting cards and watching DC Comics television like The Flash, Arrow and Gotham.

Jen lives in Lexington with her partner, Adam.  They enjoy traveling and will often take weekend trips to Cincinnati.  They recently lost their 15 year old cat, Salvie and hope to welcome a new cat into their home soon.
