Middle School Model United Nations Recognition

Please congratulate our 40 Meridian Model UN participants on a great showing during the Middle School Model UN virtual conference! These talented and dedicated students researched and wrote papers in advance, got up on the first Saturday of Thanksgiving break for an 8 am start (WHAT?!), and performed their best as delegates of countries like Finland and Cambodia against 400+ students from around the country and world.

The following students were recognized for their efforts with awards from the MSMUN evaluation team: Gitamrita Bajaj, Ahladita Balraj, Krish Bhalani, Allison Mathias, Jovan Nadar, Mahithi Nadar, Vrishan Naregudam, Hansika Nunna, Shloka Reddyreddy, Ishan Singhal
Missing Handmade Lego Figurine

Please help us find this missing LEGO figure. It is handmade and very special to its owner. It was last seen in a tic tac container. Small reward if returned to the middle school front office.

Thank you in advance for being caring and principled in helping to locate this item!
Character dare

During these few weeks of school, we want our students to be principled in their school work, with family, and friends. We are working with our middle school students on their digital citizenship by talking about safety when chatting online, as well as the amount of time they spend on digital media of any kind.

We continue working on Cornell Notes with our 8th graders to further develop their academic tool bag.

Our goal is for students to act with integrity at school, at home, and everywhere they go, and for them to try do their best in everything they do!

District News
Morning Drop Off

We are asking all drivers to model being principled and to use the drop off lane in the mornings and not park to let your student walk from the parking lot. Our lines have been moving faster and you should be out of the parking lot in no time!

This will also help our ever so congested parking lot in the mornings.

A note: when drivers park in a numbered spot, they are preventing a student driver or staff member from getting to school in a timely manner.
