On November 19, 2021, the Full Moon at 3:57 pm (EST) will be a partial Lunar Eclipse in the Moon Mansion Krittika and the zodiac sign of Taurus. Ruling Energies of this Eclipse Full Moon: Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Agni, The God of Fire

The Lunar cycle began with a New Moon in Swati, "The Self-Going Star," and the realization of our Full Moon is that it takes extreme amounts of energy to move you. This month ignore the background running script of your parents' warnings of "don't play with fire and sharp objects" as there are always two ways of using any object in existence. Creation or destruction, both are useful.

This is the final eclipse season of three in the Taurus/Scorpio axis. Looking at your life and timeline, it may have looked like this: What happened or needed to be known (first set of eclipses Nov-Dec 2020-beginning), what needs more exploration (May-June 202-middle), and now a time of integration and realization of why it all needed to happen in the first place (Nov-Dec 2021). Each six-month period between eclipses is the exploration or so-called lesson of the portal within the eighteen-month lunar node cycle of beginning-middle-end.

Within these cycles are smaller and larger cycles that churn the cogwheels of time and space. But that, my friends, is a story for another time.

This partial Lunar Eclipse lands in the Moon Mansion of Krittika and the zodiac sign Taurus. Krittika translates as "one who cuts" and is symbolized as a razor or sharp object. Fire is also a symbol of this Moon Mansion and is ruled by Agni, "The God of Fire."

A critical nature with both creative and destructive tendencies will be experienced during the eclipse.

Before an eclipse, there is a build-up of energy, much like a pressure cooker. A pressure cooker works on a simple principle: steam pressure. A combination of fire and water generates steam.

This month, the pressure cooker's contents involve the transitioning of the Sun out of its static rest state (some say debilitated state) in Libra into Scorpio on November 16. Mars rules Scorpio, which is welcoming fiery energy for the Sun. However, Scorpio is also a water sign, so fire in water requires a certain finesse to handle. Without releasing some pressure on a pressure cooker, the contents will 'explode' when the lid is removed.

Also in the pot with the Sun in Scorpio is a conjunction of Ketu, Mercury, and Mars, while just shy of direct conjunction, is opposite Uranus. Our Eclipse season may trigger some type of explosion of information, or realization of the past on a global and individual level, varying in degrees. Either way, what comes out of the pot will resemble mud and muck, which is the abode of Scorpions.

The Moon is exalted in Taurus in its opposition to the Sun. One would think this would be helpful. However, an exalted position is always opposite a debilitated position. With the Sun sitting in the exact debilitation degree of the Moon, it is illuminating all those dark recessed corners of the mind that have been buried, either deliberately or unintentionally. Moon is also conjunct the lunar north node of Rahu, who loves to churn the waters of the mind.

The Lunar nodes are the karmic axis points of past and future. During an Eclipse or a sign/house change, the cogwheel of karma gets triggered, and the portal (lid, jack in the box) opens gently or blows.

Another aspect of the eclipse is the tension of expansion created by Jupiter on the Sun and Moon. We could very well say that this is the pressure that blows the lid off.

As I mentioned, there are two ways to use every object in existence. One must always consider what's in front of them to determine the proper use of energy. Does it call for destruction or creation? Most often, it requires both to get you going in the right direction. And if needed, there is guidance available roughly 450 light-years away.

The Moon's exalted position lands close to the star cluster Pleiades. The mythology of this star cluster of seven has been defined as The Seven Wives, The Seven Sisters, The Seven Mothers, The Seven Matriarchs, The Seven Lost Boys, The Seven Hens of Fryeias, etc. The collective agreement between all cultures sees the Pleiades as a "collective of multidimensional spirit beings whose group's mission is to "assist humanity with the process of spiritual transformation." The mission and message, The Seven Virtues. Why else would the Moon (Mind) be exalted here….resting and pondering what it means to live a pure life.

1) Truth: Maintain honesty in all things, especially with yourself.
2) Purity: Remain clean and wholesome and therefore pleasing in the eyes of the ancients.
3) Faith: Be resolute and know all ways are blessed to those who have faith.
4) Patience: Surrender to the perfect timing of the Universe.
5) Kindness: Compassion, generosity, and goodness are the guardians of the soul.
6) Temperance: Sustain wisdom and discernment through self-control and moderation.
7) Determination: All is lost if the will is weak. Illumination is granted to the persistent.

Some things are ready to explode, and some things need to be cut out. And since we are going into an eclipse portal, it may be the exact thing needed to release some pressure and realign with a virtuous life.
