VIRTUAL COMMUNITY WORKSHOP REGARDING
THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT/ CONFLICT RESOLUTION BETWEEN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND THE VILLAGE OF PALMETTO BAY

Attend Virtually: The workshop will be conducted using a teleconferencing platform and will be broadcast live on the Village’s official Facebook page and website. For persons wishing to provide public comments, please refer to the options listed below:
  • Public Comments Form (option 1): Submit your public comments using our Public Comments Online Form. Forms received prior to the meeting will be read with the corresponding agenda item. Forms received after 6pm will remain part of the record. 
  • Public Comments Live (option 2): to provide real-time, audible public comments during the meeting, please register with GoToWebinar. Once registered, attendees will receive the GoToWebinar session information and call-in telephone numbers for those wishing to use a telephone. Telephone attendees may not participate in public comment as the system has no way to mute or unmute. Attendees wishing to speak during public comment time must use the GoToWebinar application on their desktop, laptop, or smart device. If unable to participate through the webinar, please submit your public comment using option 1 described above. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered participants with information about joining the webinar. Confirmation emails are personalized and should therefore not be shared.
IMPORTANT: This workshop is intended to gather public input on the provisions of the Interlocal Agreement. The Village would like to hear from as many residents as possible. During the hybrid Community Workshop, Miami-Dade County Representatives and Village of Palmetto Bay Representatives will host an open discussion with the public on the Interlocal Agreement/Conflict Resolution related to areas near the proposed SW 87th Avenue bridge. Village Manager Nick Marano will present an overview of the Interlocal Agreement and Miami-Dade County Chief Engineer, Claudia Diaz will go over the traffic simulation of the corridor. All members of the public are welcomed to participate and provide input.

This workshop comes following a Special Council Meeting held on September 23rd, during which the Village Council requested several amendments to the Interlocal Agreement as proposed. You can read a recap of the meeting here.
