Laying the Foundation
for 2023-24!
Foundational supports for the whole school have been eroded during the pandemic. Learn how educators can rebuild foundational supports and use a tiered approach to intervention to help bolster student engagement and attendance.
As the new school year begins, consider how you can help students internalize the value of showing up every day through relationships, recognition and incentives. Keep in mind, the strategy is not to award perfect attendance for a semester or the school year, since the students who struggle will soon be left out.
